A mobile app for autistic people and people with neurodevelopmental conditions, built with Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University.

AMI·ES — mobile app for the inclusion of students in higher education

AMI·ES is a mobile app that supports autistic students and students with neurodevelopmental conditions through university life. It was designed together with Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University.

Everything is built around accessibility, predictability and cognitive load: a clear, customisable interface that adapts to each person's needs.

Main features

  • Visual timer — a coloured dial that makes passing time tangible and easier to read.
  • Energy management — track the energy available across the day, with alert thresholds and break reminders.
  • Adapted planner — a readable timetable that shows the energy cost of each activity.
  • Ready-made messages — prewritten sentences to make communication easier.
  • Campus information — one place for the university's useful resources and documents.
  • To-do lists & useful apps — tools to break down and organise everyday life.

And more to come

The app is under active development and keeps growing. Coming next:

  • Activity reviews — an overview to step back and look at your days and your progress.
  • My garden — a playful space that rewards effort and keeps motivation up.
  • Reflection time — a moment to check in on how you feel and what you need.
  • Social side — stay in touch with peers and support contacts.

Built with Unity, shipped on Android and iOS.
